Pay Range: $26-$30 per hour + Overtime
The Well Service Field Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of diesel trucks, trailers, well service rigs, diesel pickups, well service triplex pumps, power swivels and various pipe handling tools and equipment. This position requires a strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, truck power train repair, and transmission and right angle drive replacement. The Mechanic must be able to work with an extensive array of power tools, jacks, hoists, presses, forklifts, power packs and cutting tools. In addition, the Field Mechanic must be experienced at using grinders, power saws, welders, truck mounted cranes, cutting torches, spray paint equipment, and various other heavy duty shop tools.
The Rig Maintenance Technician performs critical Repairs of the Electrical, Hydraulic and Mechanical Rig equipment and systems in the field.
The Commissioning Specialist will be part of Ensign Energy Drilling Solutions, a small team responsible for the planning, design and field installation of drilling rig automation and controls, and based in Houston, Texas.
The Commissioning Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all systems and components of the drilling rig controls are properly installed and thoroughly tested according to specification and customer expectations. This position will use technical and analytical skills to assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of drilling rig automation systems and applications in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position will take a leadership role on deployment of projects, provide technical consulting, develop electrical controls systems, and provide remote technical support across Ensign’s global drilling divisions.The Commissioning Specialist is also responsible for testing and troubleshooting drilling performance optimization systems in the field. The successful candidate will be required to travel more than 50% of the time to Ensign's field offices, rig construction facilities and drilling rigs working in the field. This position reports directly to the Drilling Solutions Operations Manager.
This postion is located in Grand Junction, Colorado. Must be local to the area.
The Well Service Floorhand & Derrickhand is responsible for all activities conducted on the rig work floor, operation of the mud pump, and fluid connections to the blow out preventer and well head.
Salary Range starting at $17-$19 depending on experience.

The Well Service Operator runs the rig and sees to its proper maintenance and is the on-site crew leader, giving instruction, coaching, and directing the activities of the crew.

The Well Service Relief Operator is learning the leadership techniques, down hole knowledge, management responsibilities and equipment maintenance with the goal of becoming an Operator and crew leader.

Base Salary Ranges: $91,900- $101,400
The Well Service Rig Manager: Levels 1 – 4 is responsible for safely running an operation professionally, possibly on multiple rigs. This position requires a high level of knowledge and skills to operate a safe, efficient and reputable operation. Responsibilities include managing cost, rig performance, effective leadership of rig personnel, and maintaining Ensign’s reputation.
The PLC Specialist based in Houston, TX will be part of the Ensign Drilling Solutions team responsible for the planning, design and delivery of drilling rig automation and performance systems. This position will use technical, analytical, and programming skills to assist in the development, deployment and maintenance of drilling rig automation systems and applications in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position will take a leadership role on deployment projects, provide technical consulting, develop electrical controls systems, and provide remote technical support across global drilling divisions. Must be willing to learn the drilling process in order to effectively perform job duties.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to Ensign's field offices, rig construction facilities and drilling rigs working in the field.
The Shop Hand is responsible for ensuring tools are in excellent working order and rebuilds, cleans, and repairs tools. This position requires a strong knowledge of various production and completion downhole tools, e.g. packers, bridge plugs, fishing tools, casing repair tools, and power swivels. In addition, the Shop Hand must be experienced at using grinders, power saws, welders, cutting torches, spray paint equipment, and various other heavy duty shoptools.
$15.30 - $21.00 an hour
Handles tubular goods and drilling tools using drill floor equipment.
